“AT THE CORNER OF...”

CONFERENCE & FUNDRAISER

Mark Labberton, Ph.D.

Mark is the former Senior Pastor at First Presbyterian Church of Berkeley (1991-2009) and is currently a professor of Homiletics at Fuller Theological Seminary.  He also oversees The Lloyd Ogilvie Institute for Preaching at Fuller.  His book, The Dangerous Act of Worship:  Living God’s Call to Justice is an outpouring from his own life.  Worship has been one of Mark’s life themes.  Whether personal or corporate, private or public, concerns and experiences of worship are at the heart of Mark’s call to follow Jesus and to encourage God’s people to do likewise.  Worship has been one of God’s stretching and healing gifts in Mark’s life, gradually reorienting his life towards what matters most to God.
