MENTOR COORDINATORS CONTACT INFORMATION - 2009
Each program is somehow different depending the School District where the School you want to mentor is located, and because of the specific needs requested by the Principal of each School. This makes our efforts a bit more complicated, and this is why you need to have an interview with the Mentor Coordinator of your area. He or she will contextualize the Whole & Healthy Children Initiative for you; and you will have the opportunity to ask questions you took note of during the TMT video.
Remember, the Mentor Coordinators are volunteers like you, deeply committed to the transformation of their communities. You will have to contact them and set an appointment with them. Remember to bring:
•The questions you want to ask.
•The Mentor Covenant (the last page of your the Mentor Training Manual you downloaded as a PDF)
Is your Mentor Coordinator who will be your connection with the Whole & Healthy Children Initiative; also will provide specific information about the requirements the School District require of volunteers. These requirements may include a short training and a background check.
We are deeply honored to work with these amazing group of people, they - and you - are the ones who make possible to believe in the transformation of the educational sector in our city.
