Keep Texas Beautiful Announces Environmental Award Winners
Statewide Organization Recognizes Individuals, Businesses, Civic Organizations, Youth Groups and More
Austin, Texas- On Tuesday, April 1, Keep Texas Beautiful (KTB), a leading grassroots community improvement and environmental organization, announced the winners in seven award categories recognizing Texans' efforts to enhance their communities and protect the environment.
The Keep Texas Beautiful Awards honor deserving senior citizens, community groups, individuals, civic organizations, media outlets, government entities, and law enforcement officials for their commitment to litter prevention and cleanup, education and publicity of environmental issues, and community beautification.
'The commitment and enthusiasm of these award winners is a testament to the value Texans place on keeping their community clean and beautiful,' said Keep Texas Beautiful Steve Hazlewood. 'With their leadership and inspiration we are one step closer to making Texas the cleanest, most beautiful state in the nation.'
