MISSION HOUSTON PRAYER TARGETS

We are asking for the social and spiritual transformation and revitalization of greater Houston – each person, neighborhood, and community.

• PRAYER REQUEST: Faithwalking Retreat Oct. 1-3, 2010

   

  Denise and Todd McCombs are hosting this weekend another Faithwalking 101 retreat at their home in Stafford.  There is much kingdom purpose always in these retereats as the Lord touches deep the hearts of the participants, granting them great healing and vision.  As great is the purpose, great is also the struggle in the preparation. Please pray for:

   

  • Denise McCombs, our host. She has been sick and needs renewed strength.
  • Our facilitators: Jim Herrington, Steve Capper, Trisha Taylor and other volunteers.  Jim and Steve are still in a conference in New York dealing with some problems with their flight back to Houston.
  • The participants of the retreat. We will have a group of 14 people with us this weekend. Please pray for protection and preparation for each one of them.
  • The overall purpose of God in this retreat. May we be sensitive to receive it, to understand it and to obey it.

   

  For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Eph 2:10
