A network of intercessory prayer ministries across the Greater Houston Area.
Somebody Cares Houston wants to let people know that Somebody Cares. Because Jesus cares, we, the church, care. As a result, through grass-roots efforts, communities are transformed and the church is uniting. This is unity with a purpose in action. Community efforts include prayer, street ministries, linking people in need with various ministries across the city, and more.
UBA is an alliance of autonomous self-directing Baptist congregations of diverse sizes, ethnicities, and styles of worship. While Union Baptist Association began almost 200 years ago with a geographically based identity, more and more churches identify with the UBA vision summarized in the motto: Transforming our world from the inside out.

New Church Initiatives (NCI) is an inter-denominational church-starting ministry uniting evangelical churches around the mission of church planting, in order to fulfill the Great Commission. The mission of NCI is to start healthy, reproducing churches that will reach those untouched by the gospel. Our aim is to saturate cities with churches that will transform communities and reproduce both locally and globally.
National and International City Reaching Groups
Connecting and resourcing city leaders to serve and transform their cities.
The City Impact Roundtable (CIR) brings congregational, ministry and marketplace leaders together to sit around the same "roundtable" and pray, plan and strategize about impacting their city for Christ. National and regional CIRs are times for like-minded men and women to share experiences and hear testimonies of how God is working in cities and communities across the nation.
The Lausanne Committee for World Evangelism The LOPs from the 2004 Forum and IG8 in particular is of particular interest. It is a fifty-eight page paper titled "Toward the Transformation of Our Cities/Regions" Lausanne Occasional Paper #37.
